About the Role:

The Election Protection Campaign Manager will work with the Arizona team and support the development and implementation of programmatic campaigns related to election protection in the state of Arizona.  This role will be critical in supporting the execution and operations of the Election Protection Campaign.

 

This position is term-limited through December 2024. 

 

What You Will Do:  

  • Works closely with the existing network of organizations to mobilize their volunteers in support of the nonpartisan election protection program.  
  • Assist to Identify and develop activities to further engage and mobilize partners on election protection. 
  • Writes content about election protection to educate and activate supporters, coalition partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support materials, logistics, and administration.   
  • Tracking and scheduling volunteers. 
  • Prepare community members to written comments and attend and testify at the public meetings, 
  • Provide updates to stakeholders and partners on the development of the Elections Protection and other local election policies. 
 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of organizing/campaign experience, preferably in an area related to voting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
  • Thinks creatively and finds solutions. 
  • Manages assignment and solves problems quickly and efficiently. 
  • Possesses strong training experience, planning and organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with commonly used progressive advocacy and social media platforms, as well as other project management and communication systems, including: Hustle, VAN, Slack, Teamwork, etc.
  • Experience and understanding of the political/advocacy environment within the state is a plus. 

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

Salary Range:
$80,000 to $96,274 (commensurate to experience)
